Bug Seance :
Bug Seance is a 5-piece heavy/dreamy outfit based in Portland, OR. In its five years of existence, the project has evolved to become a thoughtfully crafted blend of hardcore, emo, post-rock, and shoegaze elements. Last year, Bug Seance had the opportunity to play with emo legends Algernon Cadwallader on their west coast reunion tour. Bug Seance has also played alongside acts such as Glacier Veins, Glitterer, Fred Mascherino (of Taking Back Sunday), MAITA, and Soft Kill. Since 2021 the Bugs have embarked on two west coast tours, a couple runs in Washington state, and a week-long east coast tour. Their upcoming EP promises to be their best work yet, professionally recorded in Portland and layered with twinkly synth lines, reverberating vocals, and distorted guitar riffs.

Skelecore :

Juggling the pressures of modern life , these local indie rockers bring chill vibes and good times wherever they go.

Anaconda Vise:

HI THERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO FOR A RIDE?

One evening in 2017, four friends shared a booth and a round of drinks.

The topic of conversation, as usual, revolved around ideas concerning musical direction and forms of artistic expression… something that was always swirling in the air between members of the group.

Each of them had met through some form of collaboration, usually as a supportive cast member in one another’s projects. Every one of these musical ventures had varied widely in scope and sound, from different forms of singer-songwriter exploration to brash rock and roll, all the way to retro-futuristic synthwave.

Each project brought with it a new form of expression, a new, learned musical vocabulary.

And so on that evening out, a plan formed.

From the culmination of all these acquired musical languages, they would make something new.  Something that capitalized on their previous collaborations but also invited the listener to participate in a way that felt new and exciting.

Enter HARD HUGS, a synth-heavy, punk-rock-disco outfit formed in Helena, Montana.  With a focus on aggressive groove and electronic textures, HH aims to create an experience that makes you want to move.

Skating Polly, Lord Friday the 13th and Love Darts get weird at the Filling Station Wednesday, May 8th. Pop punk gets ugly at the Filler!

Over the past decade, few artists have embodied the unbridled freedom of punk like Skating Polly. Formed when stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse were just 9 and 13, the Oklahoma-bred band have channeled their chameleonic musicality into a sound they call “ugly-pop,” unruly and subversive and wildly melodic. With Kelli’s brother Kurtis Mayo joining on drums in 2017, they’ve also built a close-knit community of fans while earning the admiration of their musical forebears, a feat that’s found them collaborating with icons like X’s Exene Cervenka and Beat Happening’s Calvin Johnson, touring with Babes In Toyland, and starring as the subject of a feature-length documentary. On their double album Chaos County Line, Skating Polly reach a whole new level of self-possession, ultimately sharing their most expansive and emotionally powerful work to date.

Lord Friday the 13th is a dollar store trash-glampunk band based in Austin, TX. Fronted by siblings Felix (vocals) and Sloane (guitar) Lenz,
their sound has been described as the Velvet Underground meets the New York Dolls, with hints of early Iggy and the Stooges. While honoring the origins of punk and the energy it birthed with it, Lord Friday continues the legacy of change and pushing boundaries on societal norms that true punk is known for. Challenging gender roles and conformity, Lord Friday is here to empower and inspire a new kind of punk for a new world.

The Love Darts don’t have a bio. Mere words cannot convey the chaos that occurs when the Love Darts sacrifice another set of amplifiers to the rock and roll gods on The Filler stage.
