Sweet N’ Juicy are literally a Banana (Sweet), Pineapple (N’), and Strawberry (Juicy) that just want humans to party and love each other.

They earned the title of the Pacific North West’s hardest working band by clearing 200 shows in 2022 including Oregon Country Fair, a private performance for Cirque Du Soleil, and much more. They were also called “America’s Funnest Band” by an old member of the Replacements and they are pushing themselves most nights of the week to live up to it.

Their music is often compared to Parliament Funkadelic, The Talking Heads, and Ween, although they once got Flight of the Conchords and Vulfpeck on the same show. Everything from Gershwin to Disco! The band is driven by Portland based session players Paul Paresa (Juicy the Strawberry/keyboards) who has toured internationally and performed at the Monterey Jazz fest, and Dave Smith (Sweet the Banana/bass) who has co-written a song with Blondie (Take Me in the Night) and performed with great players like Grayson Hugh (Thelma and Louise soundtrack), Dennis Davis (Wonder, Bowie, Ayers), Steve Kortyka (Gaga, Bennett), Keith Robison (Marcia Ball, Charlie Robison) T-bone Motta (Public Enemy), and countless others on 60+ albums, thousands of shows, and TV work.

They have an hour-long concept album called “The Adventures of Sweet N’ Juicy” which explains their existence as fruits as well as what N’ is short for! Their new album “Your Mom’s Gonna Love Us” comes out on January 27th!
